As our Shidler College of Business community navigates this unprecedented time in our lives impacted by the COVID-19 situation, our primary concern remains the health and safety of our students, alumni, faculty and staff and college supporters.
Shidler on the Frontline is a new resource created to help you stay connected with our community as we adapt to the new working and living conditions during the shelter in place period. You will hear from alumni and friends working on the frontline who share their stories of innovation and inspiration as our everyday heroes. We will also feature valuable insights, resources and webinar opportunities from our business leaders and experts to keep you informed.
If your business remains open and is working on the frontline of COVID-19, we want to hear from you!
Your story and business will be shared with our alumni, friends and greater community through our website, social media channels or Shidler Business magazine.
Tell us how we can serve you better.
Are you hiring or need volunteers?
Recent forecasts predict that Hawai‘i’s unemployment rate will grow to 25 percent by the end of 2020. If you or your employer is in the fortunate position of hiring or needs volunteers, we can help you to promote any job openings to our Shidler community. Submit your information to Shidler on the Frontline.
Are you a small business owner?
The University of Hawai‘i Alumni Relations has started a small business directory initiative and we encourage you to submit your information for inclusion. The directory is open to all University of Hawai‘i alumni and its goal is to spread awareness of products and services UH alumni have to offer the community.
Your success keeps our economy moving forward. We are grateful for your courage and stand with you on the frontline in support of helping our community get through this time of crisis.
